Terms of use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of moventemag.com ("Movente"), an independent editorial magazine about Pilates, movement, and culture. Using the site implies acceptance of these terms.

Movente's text, illustrations, and design are original and protected by intellectual property rights unless otherwise noted. You may read, share links to, and quote brief excerpts with clear attribution to Movente and a link to the original article. Full reproduction of articles, or commercial use, is not permitted without prior written authorization.

Some of Movente's illustrations and images are AI-generated, always disclosed as such — in their caption or, for header images and issue covers, with a visible "AI-generated image" label — in compliance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act. No illustration depicts a real person without their explicit consent, and no Movente content constitutes advertising for a real entity unless explicitly marked "Advertising."

A note on health content. Movente publishes editorial content about Pilates, biomechanics, scientific evidence, and clinical aspects of the method, with a standing rule of intellectual honesty: when the evidence is weak, we say so. Even so, this content is for informational and cultural purposes — it is not medical or physical-therapy advice, nor an individualized treatment recommendation. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any practice if you have a medical condition, an injury, or a health concern.

Movente may link to third-party sites (sources, advertisers, social media). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Terms of sale for The Compendium. Seller: Santiago Lucerón Carrión, Tax ID 06264104P, Calle Alcalá, 122, Madrid (Spain), flow@moventemag.com. Product: Movente mini manuals in PDF format (digital content not supplied on a tangible medium), sold individually or as the complete pack at /en/the-compendium/ and /el-compendio/.

Price and payment. Prices are shown in euros and include applicable VAT; there are no shipping costs or extra charges. Payment is made with the methods Stripe offers on its secure page; we never store your card details. The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment.

Delivery. Immediate and digital only: as soon as payment is confirmed, the purchase confirmation page shows the download links for the PDFs you bought. We recommend saving them to your device. If you lose access or can't download them, email us from the address you paid with and we'll get them to you.

Waiver of the right of withdrawal. Because this is digital content supplied immediately, before you pay we ask you to expressly confirm that you request immediate access and accept losing the 14-day right of withdrawal (Article 103.m of the Spanish consumer protection law, TRLGDCU). The purchase does not start without that confirmation. This does not affect your warranty rights: if a file is damaged, won't download, or doesn't match what you bought, we'll replace it or refund you.

Complaints and contact. For any issue or complaint about a purchase, write to flow@moventemag.com with the email address you paid with; we'll reply as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact your local consumer protection authority or the competent courts.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, and without prejudice to consumers' right to bring proceedings in the courts of their own domicile, the parties submit to the courts of Madrid.
