A cookie is a file a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Some modern tools achieve similar measurement without cookies — that's the case for our baseline analytics, explained below.
movente_consent and movente_lang are not third-party or tracking cookies: the first remembers your choice on the cookie banner, the second the language you've already seen, so you don't get redirected again. Both are stored in your own browser (localStorage) and shared with no one.
Plausible, our baseline analytics, uses no cookies at all — it measures visits in an aggregated, anonymous way, unable to identify you across sessions. That's why it always runs, whether or not you accept the banner.
If you accept the cookie banner, we also enable Google Analytics 4 cookies (via Google Tag Manager), which do identify your browser for more detailed behavior measurement, and beehiiv's attribution cookies, which record where a new subscriber came from.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser settings (the banner will reappear) or by configuring your browser to block third-party cookies.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| movente_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or declined cookie-based analytics | Persistent until you clear it | Movente (first-party) |
| movente_lang | Remembers the language you've already seen, to avoid repeat redirects | Persistent until you clear it | Movente (first-party) |
| _ga, _ga_*, _gid | Google Analytics 4 — site usage measurement (only if you accept the banner) | Up to 13 months, per Google's configuration | Google (third-party) |
| beehiiv attribution cookies | Identify where a new subscriber came from (only if you accept the banner) | Variable, set by beehiiv | beehiiv (third-party) |
